TODD H. HUVARD, President
Formerly a noted aviation magazine publisher, Todd has logged more than 9,000 hours in 130 different types of aircraft since 1978. His industry work experience with flight training and aircraft finance organizations uniquely qualify him to assist clients in assessing the right aircraft choice. He is a Commercial Pilot with Multi-Engine, Seaplane and Instrument ratings and holds Type Ratings in Cessna Citation 500 series and Falcon 20 aircraft.
Todd has worked directly with aircraft purchasers and dealers in evaluating and appraising subject aircraft and walking clients through their aircraft finance transactions. He uses his experience to advise our clients on the best financing options and transaction requirements during their purchase process.
ERNESTO IBBOTT, Associate Broker & Operations Manager
Ernesto Ibbott is a double threat, holding both Commercial Helicopter and Commercial Fixed Wing ratings with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings. Responsible for our hangar operations, aircraft pre-sale detailing and preparation, Ernie manages our Pre-Purchase process, assisting and facilitating clients and their mechanics who are surveying aircraft under contract at our hangar facility. He flies acceptance, demonstration and ferry flights in many different aircraft.
Ernie is fluent in Spanish and often assists in our international transactions when precise bi-lingual communication is required for Spanish-speaking clients, particularly in our growing South American business.
ASHLEY H. HUVARD, Office Manager
Ashley Huvard manages the business operations for AircraftMerchants and manages all day-to-day office matters, from advertising to accounting, and assists with aircraft closing transactions.
Ashley is also responsible for preparing and organizing logbooks and aircraft records and has scanned literally thousands of aircraft logbooks and is invaluable in tracking critical details for our clients. Ashley has been directly involved in general aviation for more than 30 years in administrative capacities. Ashley holds a BA in Economics from North Carolina State University.
